Dr. Herbert Morton Meadow, MD

According to NYS he is a criminal and has been arrested for multimillion dollar fraud.

I should have known upon my first visit when it took 15 minutes and I walked away with 4 prescriptions that this guy was bad news. He wanted to treat things that I said I didn't feel needed treatment (such as my moderate Tourettes, by the way, that were not a severe enough issue in my life prior to visiting him), and he continually dismissed my concerns and questions regarding his choice of care. He took me in for my visit before I'd even finished my intake sheet because he was anxious to get to his next several patients that hour. After being in his care for less than two months, I'd had over 6 types of prescriptions, two of which led to an allergic reaction (he ignored my concern and increased the dose instead), and I had to come off the medication by myself, which led to withdrawals and an incredibly increased suicidal tendencies. Because of this happening in autumn 2014, I have yet to return to work, and I spent the next five to six months struggling to not commit suicide. When I… saw him at my last appointment in October, I mentioned the alarming increase in suicidal feelings, and when I didn't show up to my appointment two weeks later, no one from the office ever called to see if I was alive. Dr. Meadow did not concern himself with my well-being, and I don't trust him to do so with anyone. I also saw his appointment list every single time I showed up, and he consistently had appointments booked for every fifteen minutes. This is appalling. As soon as I'm able to handle the anxiety of doing so, I will be reporting him. His behavior is disturbing and dangerous.

Great doctor! Gets to the point,diagnosis great.Does not over medicate n keeps up w all your stability and progress!!! Encourages therapy, never is condescending and is a great listener. I loved every visit w him!!!

While the Doctor's bedside manner was great I have never experienced anything like his staff. They were and continue to be rude, unhelpful, and in many cases hindering care.

Great listener. Understands modern day issues and empathizes well. Offered options and freed me from fears of stigma related to meds. Looking forward to next visit.

One of the worst Psychiatrists I have ever encountered. He runs a drug mill. The total time spent with a given patient is approximately 1 min. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this "doctor" and I use the term doctor very loosely. I would stay away from this man at all costs.
