Dr. Herbert Martin Modelevsky, MD

He was my pediatrician growing up and when I was too old to be going to a pediatrician my mother called him because I was being seen by another doctor who couldn’t properly diagnose me for months and I was very sick. Dr. Modelevsky saw me and properly diagnosed me and had me sent to the hospital. Years later in high school when I was a handful, my mom once again called him and asked for advice. He had her bring me in and he talked to me for quite some time. He was really helpful and I always appreciated that and never got to tell him that. So Dr. Modelevsky, if by miracle you see this, you made a huge impact on me and I will never forget you for that.

When I was extremely young (the 1970’s), he was my doctor. He used to turn off the lights in the examination room to shine a light in my ears (with my mother in the room). While it was dark, he’d put his hand down my pants and fondle me. I always hoped that he wasn’t my doctor on the days that I had to go there. His partner, Dr. Pador was a true professional. His behavior is the only reason I could tell the difference between examination and molestation.
