Dr. Herbert Gladstone Parris, MD

If you read even a portion of this, you’ll know with certainty that YOU ARE NOT SAFE in this practitioner’s hands. 2 years ago, I had a filler injection by Dr. Herbert Parris which left me with PERMANENT AND IRREPARABLE NERVE DAMAGE to the left side of my face. Donna Reichert, an employee of Dr. Herbert Parris at Ageless Aesthetics Med Spa, was present in the room during the treatment. As he did that injection, I felt an incredibly painful and sudden electrical shocking sensation that traveled from the corner of my left eye to the left corner of my mouth. I immediately informed them of this, and they acknowledged that Herbert Parris hit a nerve with the needle. With nonchalance, they took payment and sent me on my way. A few hours later, the pain became excruciating, and I began having difficulty with the vision in my left eye. They did not check on me regarding my status, rather, I texted Donna and Parris to let them know what was happening. Over the next 2 months, I informed them of… all the medical evaluations and tests I had, and that there was absolutely NO IMPROVEMENT of the injury caused. During a follow up with Parris, I presented him with the neurologist’s report which clearly documented the damage that grossly and irreparably damaged my nerve. Why Parris continued to be befuddled is beyond reason. After 23 appointments with neurologists, neurosurgeons, an oculopastic surgeon, and 3 plastic surgeons, the consensus from EVERY SINGLE PHYSICIAN, is that this injection is responsible for my permanent nerve damage. Herbert Parris insisted that the damage could not possibly be permanent because I had motor function. I tried to explain to him that the maxillary branch of the trigeminal nerve controls sensory function, not motor function, and so there would be no impediment of motor function. His lack of knowledge of this anatomical reality is mine numbing to me. So, “Dr.” Herbert Parris, to extinguish any of your concerning confusion: The infraorbital nerve is transmitted through the infraorbital foramen. The Infraorbital nerve is the continuation of the maxillary branch of the trigeminal nerve, and is SOLELY A SENSORY NERVE. Herbert Parris and Ageless Aesthetics Med Spa should be embarrassed, disgusted, and ashamed of their dismissive and derelict behavior. With their lack of accountability and obvious arrogance, I highly doubt it. I AM EMBARRASSED, DISGUSTED AND ASHAMED FOR THEM. Herbert Parris and Donna Reichert lacked ethics, professionalism, and general concern for me as a patient, and I, for the rest of my life, will live with irrecoverable neuralgia and neuropathy 24/7. Parris never even had the couth to refund payment, nor even offer an apology for the damage done… anything to protect his standing with the medical board. Such reprehensible and utterly classless behavior is repulsive and alarming to me. DO NOT risk your wellbeing. Instead, seek treatment from a physician who has firm knowledge and competence when it comes to facial anatomy. I will, for the rest of my life, deeply regret that I did not do just that.

Spectacular bedside manner. Relieves all of your anxiety and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

Very personable and friendly. You could spend a ton of time finding a perfect doctor but you would be wasting your time. Dr. Herb is the best!!!
