Dr. Herbert I Pasternak, DO

Hours are suppose to be till 5:00pm but if you call at 4:45 you can not get through. The voicemail says that the office is closed so you have to leave a message. No one returns your call. Very upsetting!!!! Dr does seem competent and does answer questions while you are there but getting answers away from office is extremely frustrating!!!

Have been seeing dr P. for many, many yrs now. When I first saw him, was having very bad pains in stomach. Two dr's said they didn't know what was wrong, told me to take Tums. One dr told me "it was in my head"! Finally, was given Dr. P's name from a friend. He did an Endoscopy asap. I had a bleeding ulcer! He was so compassionate and understood the pain I was in. Immediately put me on 3 different meds, brought me back 2 wks later for a follow-up and for biopsy results and did another Endoscopy 6wks later to make sure bleeding stopped. Don' know what I would do without this wonderful dr. He saved me! Thru the yrs have had many other GI problems and have always been treated with the same kind od care....concern, compassionate, sympathetic!
