Dr. Herbert Joseph Wiser, MD

I underwent several surgeries under the care of Dr. Herbert Wiser. During one of the surgeries I woke up out of anesthesia, and was wrestled back to the table causing nerve damage. Dr. Wiser called me personally after the surgery and told myself and my family that he should have never done the procedure which was to be only about 45 minutes long. Actual OR time was close to 6 hours. Dr. Wiser’s associates wouldn’t see me after surgery and referred me to their competitor. Dr. Wiser then moved out of state and hasn’t been heard from since. It has been two years since being able to return to work. Living in pain daily was not my plan.

Dr. Wiser is extremely knowledgeable, and with his education and experience, he helped save my life. He listens, is respectful, and takes as much time as necessary to be thorough in explaining everything. He also has wonderful communication skills. Prior to surgery, he even called me on a Sunday for an update, which was beyond expectations. When hospitalized, he made numerous visits and followed up on everything. He is an excellent physician, and I would highly recommend him. Between he and Lindsey, the messages that I have sent him online are always answered in a timely manner, and followed up on. Aspirus is known for passion for excellence and compassion for people, and that certainly describes him.
