Dr. Sim Record is the best DOC !My first visit was SPECTACULAR ! she was very kind and to the point and told me the honest truth which is what I like to hear! she listens to all your request and medical issues and is very prompt. She is so easy to talk to and Her medical assistant SHERI is soooooo nice

No bedside manner at all - very abrupt

I'm what you might call a problem patient, I don't follow directions, I smoke and really don't take care of myself, this leads me to why I come to Bergen Family Practice...........I find Dr. Sim not only extremely professional but she also has a very good bedside manor. I've been a patient for a number of years and find that her diagnosis has always been right on the money. In terms of treatment, she has always taken the time to discuss different options and I find myself that much the better because of it. She is very personal and I am very comfortable and relaxed knowing she is looking out for my best interest. I would highly recommend her to any fiends and family. The office staff is very helpful and accommodating!

In general, I don't mind if a doctor's bedside manner isn't perfect---I'd rather have someone who is really competent. In fact, the Dr. I had before Dr. Sim was not that warm in her manner, but I stayed with her for a number of years because she seemed to pay attention and seemed to explain things well. Having said that, however, I think that Dr. Sim's lack of approachability and even irritability (which I have never experienced with a Dr.), was such that I would not return. Towards the end of my physical when the Dr. seemed to be ready to wrap up, I asked an additional question, and she seemed to be quite annoyed that I was taking up more time. Anyone can have a bad day, but as a professional, I think it is one's responsibility to keep your own emotions in check. I gave her one star because I do think she is competent. However, she definitely needs to work on her people skills.

I saw Dr. Sim on 2 separate occasions. I don't know her personally but I can say that she definitely has to work on her bedside manner. She walks in the room, without breaking a stride or making eye contact says hello.. Goes immediately to the computer and starts clicking and typing. She is impersonal ... She gives me the feeling that this is the last place she wants to be. She has a unique ability to make you feel unimportant. I have only seen this in a few people in my life ... That's why it sticks out in my mind. I can say on a positive note that she was on time in both appointments. Overall it is my opinion that she is not well suited for dealing with patients on an intimate level. If you want to get in and out quick because you have a little somthing .. And you just néed antibiotics than she is ok. But if you have problems that you need advice about or to plan a course of action ..or need questions answered without feeling like you are burdening the Dr .. Then you may want to… look elsewhere.

Dr. Sim is very kind and willing to take time to listen and answer your questions. I find her caring, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend her!

Dr Sim is a very quiet but friendly person and professional. i have by and larger enjoyed the 5 years that i have been with her i think those who rate her low are misjudging the kind of person she is because it seems she is just a quiet person by nature and it might not be understood by those giving her a bad rating
