Dr. Herman Pang, MD

Dr. Pang has had two orders of protection filed against him by two different women. He was fired from his job as a Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgeon in Denver, Colorado. He has had privileges' taken away from him in the Scottsdale Healthcare system & then was caught stealing supplies from this hospital system, arrested & placed in jail. He is currently on disciplinary action from BOMAX ( Az Board of Medical Examiners) for substandard patient care. He filed for both personal & cooperate bankruptcy in 2016, which he is still involved with.

I had been to many docs that could not find anything wrong...yet i could not walk for 4 months on my leg. They could not find it because unknown to me I was going to wrong specialists. I was referred to Dr Pang from a coworker. I was ecstatic to finally find something that could possibly help me gain my mobility back. Found that i have venous insufficiency in both legs. From It has been 5 months, I had had 4 procedures on my left leg. 3 on the right. Talk about living in the Dr office.... On one closure, I continued to tell the office ..it had been two months and still in pain. No One listened. Thank Gawd for the MA , she took the time to find the mess. He could not even see it.$120 in copay's just for me to try to get them to listen..on this ONE area. I was hopeful this major closure would do the trick...NOPE. Since SEPT. I am still in pain. I am concerned about the artery in the back of my leg. It now hurts. I was in the ER for chest tightness. I get the valves in my legs are bad,… but what about everything else in my body? I was told he only does"below the waist". You cant do "half of the body" when the vascular system is involved, So, Why is he a" thoracic " doctor? His front desk is awesome. Dr Pang is very nice. I wont be returning. I feel that if someone is having this many leg issues, then he should refer them to a specialists. I was active till a year ago . I have never taken so much advil in my life. wear stockings. walk as much as i can bear the pain. The ER doc referred me to a internist and cardiologist. I just want to walk and be active again. Not have procedures every month with docs only caring about $$$. My Advice to anyone: Get a Vein mapping test . a dye is injected and will show all the veins at one time that are not properly working. rather than a duplex ultrasound. And Ultrasounds are supposed to be done standing. NOT Laying down.

Everything went as I was told it would. Insurance covered treatment which made it very inexpensive.

The office was great. I was a little reluctant after reading reviews on this site but since none of them made sense, I decided to go to Dr. Pang as he came highly recommended by my Doctor. He was very nice and his staff was great. I appreciate the great care and I would recommend him to anyone.

Still need 2 more veins to be treated but i'm pleased with how much it has helped me with my night cramps and overall leg pain. My only issue I have is with how long I've had to wait to be seen for treatments.

Very satisfied with my results, had two large Veins in each legs that were giving me a lot of pain and swelling. Was very swollen and red after the procedures for a few weeks which made me worry because this was one of the main issues I was trying to fix. After meeting with Dr. Pang he assured me the swelling would go down. Its been a month since the procedures and i've had zero pain and swelling since, I have a rescan next month. Hopefully all is well.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Dr. visit, I had two veins closed and still have pain and swelling.

I had a great overall experience but the wait time is was way to long

I went to have two of my veins closed. There was something not right .They didn't mess me up but they billed my insurance and did the procedure and I still had the same problem so I went to the vein institute they cant even see a sign that it was done and they are now going to do the vein.I found several people not online but personally that I have ran into that has a lot of bad stuff to say about this office .I regret going there the place I am at now is so much better .

Dr. Pang's staff is very courteous and helpful. I met with Dr. Pang at my first consultation. My procedure was explained to me -- I needed four vericose veins treated. Dr. Pang performed 1 of the procedures and his ANP performed the other 3. I was given a choice as to who I wanted to do the procedure and I found them both to be excellent. I would definitely recommend this doctor.
