If you're looking for a dentist who puts his patients before insurance billing, this dentist ISN'T the dentist to see! His staff called me a couple of days before my dental appointment to verify my insurance. Told me I was covered, but I had to pay up front and then ask to be reimbursed by my insurance. Not so ... I had insurance rep call the billing office to verify my insurance. I'm 100 percent covered. The staff called me back to apologize and said yes, come on in. Today, I go to my appointment, and guess what, while the staff is great, this dentist again questions my insurance -- which by the way is Humana. Really?? I'm already sitting in his dental chair and he won't continue on until he is sure insurance is gonna pay. Yeah, way to go in putting patients before profit. Shows how much he really cares about people. Btw, I have 100 percent dental coverage with no deductible up to $3K each year. Yeah, Dr. Nguyen puts profit before patients.
