Dr. Hernan Baquerizo, MD

Dr. Baquerizo may be a great doctor but if you go to his office, expect to be waiting for a minimum of 2-3 hours. Also, the staff is not friendly and they do everything by paper. Noting is digital which is very old fashioned. I waited for 3 hours today. Got up and left. The staff made no effort to reschedule my appointment nor did they demonstrate any sympathy. Not good

Basically this: "While claims have been made that he is a good physician, his office wait times are ridiculous. Normally wait time to see this doctor is over three hours after your scheduled appointment time. His office staff does not properly schedule patients, with enough time in between to avoid a back log. Beware of this office. Your time is more valuable and you should value it. Find another physician. Go somewhere else."

I have been a patient of Dr Baquerizo for years and I really like him, he takes time to explain everything and to respond any questions you might have. The wait can vary from 1 hour to 3 hours (too long!!!). The staff is nice once you are there, but they seem to be very busy. The staff response over the phones is atrocious. You call them to make appointments and you rarely get a human to answer the phone, the only choice is to leave messages and they usually don't call back. Because of this, I'm thinking about going to another doctor.

Unfortunately Dr. Hernan does not respect his patients Times. Had a appointment at 1 and is 3pm and still not in. Patients sit here for a avg of 3 hours. Unacceptable.

Very thoroughly. Takes time to explain everything. Poor office staff.

He told my grandmother she can lose weight by eating once a day knowing she's diabetic and if her blood sugar dropped it would be fine cause it would go back up eventually

Excellent Doctor is worth the wait.

I arrived 5min prior to my appt. There must be about 25 people ahead waiting to see him. Most are inside his very small waiting area. The rest are standing in the hallway. I've never waited less than 2hrs to see him. I only do because I think he's a great physician however, there are elderly people waiting out in the hallway with no place to sit. This is at his Miami Mercy Hospital location. Almost horrified at the sight that this still happens in such a well known institution and in the City of Miami.
