Dr. Hesham Ahmed Abboud, MD

I walked into Dr. Abboud office. After anxiously waiting for a medical opinion I thought this provider who was just making conversation and seem friendly wouldn't have been a provider that many should be skeptical when it comes to his expertise. I walked in and he asked a few questions and assumed because I wanted to be a doctor and that I brought my records in a medical binder organized that I had some kind of OCD disorder and I was basically doing this for nothing, except anxiety related issues. I told him I was even evaulated by a psychiarist before just to rule out and he was like you only saw one and got one provider as if I was suppose to see several for him to be confident. In all the years I have been going to doctors I have never been so embrassed of a visit my family was there and they couldn't believe he was talking this way. Later we found out that my so called "anxiety" that was diagnosed withing 20 min of meeting me by dr Abboudwas a rare medical disorder having to do… with the mitocondria. If I had stopped my appointments and venture to find out what was wrong I would have found out much much later, Take it from someone who has been batteling for answers and fighting to get well that this is a doctor who does not have your best interest at heart. He is quick to make assumptions and will use anything as justification to explain why its all in your head.
