This dentist slapped some porcelain on my filling and didn't smooth the filling to be aligned with my bite. I didn't even go in there for a filling. She claimed I needed one. I really went there because I was told by my Periodontist I had a cracked filling on my left back molar and a chipped filling on my right back molar. She looked at both and said it was fine. Of course, I got a 2nd opinion and it was not fine. The left back molar does have a small chip and my longtime PPO dentist said she's not worried about it, but I should get a crown for the right back molar right away because there's decay under the old filling. SMH and this so called dentist said she didn't see anything that needed to be done EXCEPT a filling I may or may not have needed. After this filling I was in pain and took Advil plus I couldn't bite down on that side so I was chewing with my front teeth. I only went there twice and each time it was an issue with the receptionist. She likes to argue, have the last word,… and be right. She was arguing with me about if I saw an oral surgeon or periodontist. She also had me fill out new patient paperwork on my 1st visit. I said I'm not a new patient. I've been here before. She stupidly spelled my name wrong so that's why she couldn't find my file. Not to mention she went and told everyone in the office about the discussion regarding oral surgeon or periodontist so that's why I think the dentist had an attitude, which is very unprofessional especially for someone that has dentist anxiety! The office as a whole is crappy and I tried to switch back to PPO instead of HMO and I can't so the only way I can do that is when I get my new job and make sure I sign up for PPO. I won't do HMO ever again and unless you want very poor service I would recommend this place, but if you want great customer service and experienced staff then I recommend you go somewhere else if you have HMO. Otherwise, sign up for PPO and get a better dentist!
