We recently got our immigration medical test done. Getting appointment was easy. took about 1 weeks to get our papers done. Dr explained us the required tests and breakdown of the prices and gave us the options to proceed with them or get it at a lab.We chose to do it with the office. overall very friendly staff and happy with the entire process

We went to this doctor b/c he was on the list of doctors approved by USCIS. We felt very uneasy with him billing us $390.00 for services, AND then requiring us to pay an additional $200.00 in CASH. Why he would require a cash payment was not clear, and we did not ask. We needed the tests done as soon as possible. One of the tests he performed came back positive. He did not make eye contact while giving my wife the news of the positive test result. He gets an F for patient interaction. He referred us to another doctor for more tests. The doctor he referred us to was booked for the next two months out. We then went to another doctor, of our choosing, for retesting and the results came back NEGATIVE. I do NOT recommend using Dr. Devarapalli.

Do not go to this doctor for USCIS immigration related medical exam. I had a bad experience with them. First of all they are pretty shady about the pricing. Let me elaborate, I called them as usual by going through the USCIS approved website and set an appointment. The upfront fee for doing the actual exam and signing paperwork is $200. This part is pretty standard. The doctor came in and said I need some shots and tests done. Here comes the tricky part, they did not give me any option to get it done anywhere else. They just gave me a shot and told me it's $300 for all that. I was shocked. I asked the lady at the front desk if this can be covered by my insurance and her response was not friendly at all. She was like we don't give any receipts as to what's done and we don't call your insurance to see if they will cover it. How about this? Why didn't you explain this to me before sticking a syringe in me? Second of all they have three different locations. I wanted my immigration report… immediately but they delayed it by a week and made me call them everyday to figure out when I was going to get them. Don't go to this place. Their Arlington Heights facility is disgusting, I don't understand how people are given treatment here. It was dirty, the bathrooms were not clean and the examination room was old and had water damage on the ceiling. I gave two stars for Kim, she worked with the doctor to give me the report in 6 days. These people don't care if you have an urgency, you need to work around their schedule. I will never ever go to this doctor again. If you have read this far, this is the worst experience of my life at a doctor's office after burning a whole in my pocket with $500 dollars.
