In my 5 years of prostate cancer treatment with Dr. McBride, I am completely satisfied. She is very professional, thorough and caring. She has a great staff at the Jefferson location, and I highly recommend them all! I've had wonderful treatment there, and would go nowhere else.

Dr. McBride is caring and thorough in her examination and advice. I love her paintings, which are displayed in strategic places in the facility. Her staff is pleasant and helpful.

My experience with Dr. McBride suggests that her judgement, competency, professionalism and faith in the Hippocratic Oath are worthless and to be avoided if you care about a favorable outcome. I suffer from recurrent prostate cancer. McBride's resume and her lengthy conversations with me led me to believe that she had the confidence and competency to successfully perform my needed procedure (Brachytherapy). After numerous confusing events and her insistence on an approach to the procedure that three other specialists I finally consulted with regard as archaic and arcane, she abandoned the entire process without ever informing me. She left completely unrecognized and without any response my numerous attempts to contact her. My situation was critical - with a huge possibility of metastasis if nothing was done at once. McBride did not recognize the latest technology and advances in prostate cancer treatment, she dismissed them as “worthless”, “… we don’t do that here.” Dr Snoy, a… urologist outside the Lovelace system who was McBride’s choice of partner in the operation, told me that he would have nothing to do with it. But I never heard another word from Dr. McBride herself after a month’s worth of countless phone calls, emails and attempts otherwise to contact her via the Lovelace patient portal. Conversations with other Lovelace representatives revealed that no one has any idea why McBride chose to be negligent and irresponsible. Is it possible that she has lied to her superiors about her capabilities? This experience delayed for three whole months my cancer treatment—which I finally did receive at last from a very competent local provider. Avoid Lovelace Radiation Oncology if you value your life.
