Dr. Hilda Moreno

Hilda Moreno, BA, MEd, MBA, PHD, LPC-S is a Counselor with 30 years of experience with adolescents, adults and children. She is passionate about helping people obtain a balanced life. Dr. Moreno specializes in trauma, grief, career exploration, and adjustment disorder. She worked as a teacher and school counselor for 28 years, a parent trainer for 1 year, and worked with probation clients for 2 years. Her own personal experiences as a person who has attained a terminal degree, a single parent, a divorcee, and someone who has lost a loved one enable her to serve multiple therapeutic needs. Dr. Moreno is trained in trauma, grief, and CBT. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness.
