Dr. Hillary Hahm, MD

Dr Hahm was very helpful and attentive when she treated me for a difficult time after I had surgery and a reaction to heparin. I was in the hospital for almost 4 weeks and she was always there to make sure the outcome was a good one. I saw her in her office for an additional 4 months. she was great. Thank you Dr Hahm

No one wants to be diagnosed with cancer, but I have found Dr. Hahm to be very professional, caring and communicative. She always spends enough time to explain anything, answer questions and be supportive. The office is a little chaotic, but it seems they are improving recently.

Dr. Hahn is awesome. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. Spends a great deal of time with me which probably explains the long wait time. She has my stage 4 cancer stable!!!

She is a wonderful oncologist. I could not ask for better. I always feel better after my appointment with her. She is so supportive. If others had the opportunity to have her as their physician, it would make a smoother progression of treatment, etc.

It is rare to find a doctor as good and as caring as Dr. Hahm. I have stage 4 breast cancer and she is still finding new ways to keep my cancer from progressing. She just told me about a new drug approval yesterday, and the drug is hard to get. I am hopefully going to be one of the lucky ones that get to use the drug first!! She is a true professional, and you will not find a better doctor in the Atlanta area.

Dr. Hahm is exceptional, and I am so happy to have her as my Oncologist. I had another Oncologist prior to Dr. Hahm and there is no comparison. She is truly one of the best out there and knows the issues associated with breast cancer so well. I have stage 4 cancer with a lot of issues and she has been so helpful and caring. I left for a brief time due to transportation issues and I am very happy to be back with her again. You will not be disappointed with her!!

Dr. Hahm is outstanding. I was referred to her by my surgeon after a recurrence of cancer. She listens very carefully and treats aggressively. I completely trust her because I feel like she's proactive and vigilant.

Dr. Hahm is an excellent physician, but we found that she assumed we knew far more than we actually did. Once we explained that to her, so took the time to go over the diagnosis and explain options and ask if we had any additional questions.As for her staff, we found some of the nurses to be less than accommodating, some of the techs in the lab are downright rude, and the clerical staff seems truly clueless. We made the mistake of putting a home fax number on our paperwork in addition to a cell phone number, and more than one year later, the staff is still calling that fax number to reach us, even during emergencies.One particularly unpleasant nurse threw me out of the room before a difficult and very painful procedure, even though my husband and I stated that we both wanted me in the room. Also, some of the nurses and techs ignored our repeated requests during a frequent very painful and upsetting procedure, and they just went ahead and caused us both immense pain and distress.We wish… Dr. Hahm had a better staff, but if you go in to see her prepared to ask many questions and make your preferences known, that will help when dealing with her staff.

Almost four years with Dr. Hahm, and I don't think I could find any better. She is caring and compassionate, and has knowledge of, and expertise in, the latest and best breast cancer treatments.Stage 4 cancer is scary at best. Dr. Hahm and her staff make it not so terrifying.

I enter these comments with great regret, but my time with Dr. Hahm was my second go-round with cancer so I know what good care is. Dr. Hahn never took me into her office to talk to me. She only used the examination room and the hallway for talking to me. Moreover, it was all one-sided, for she never asked if I had any questions and her replies to my questions were short and inadequate. The small amount of information she provided on side effects of chemotherapy drugs was insufficient and lacked important warnings. I changed doctors because of the poor level of care.
