Dr. Hillary S Hawkins, MD

Dr. Hawkins isn’t seen outpatient pain patients for a couple years now. That’s a huge loss for patients and Richmond. She was one of the most knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate doctors.

I was a patient with cysts growing in my spinal cord making it difficult to walk. Alison Clarke, Rhonda Riggleman, Hillary Hawkins and Deborah Hill-Barlow all bullied, abused and neglected me and made fun of my brain injuries instead of caring for me! My therapist, who was a director of a hospital told me the other day that after they treated me so horrible, he wouldn't send his cat or dog to S. Arms.

This doctor was more concerned with her title then she was in hearing and helping her patients.....She was not aware of all the things going on at her hospital......bad things going on at club rec like young girls being sexually harassed by older males and it being covered up.....Program directors bullying patients for the fun of it........telling them they never had brain injuries when the program directors are making fun of patients when no one was looking. This is the worse place I ever stepped foot in

Dr. Hawkins was more concerned about herself instead of caring for my STBI or my 2 spinal cord injuries. She left her smart remarks and refused to send me to a Neurologist while she and her staff made fun of me and the 2 cysts growing in my spinal cord. She was writing scripts for pain meds to all her friends, she can no longer have outside patients. She and her staff broke their own Mission Statement protecting patients that trust them to follow threw with respect and care. Very sad to find out they did everything in their power to destroy me and not care for me while laughing at me and taking advantage of my aging and ill parents that trusted Dr. Hawkins because she said she was gong to help me. She didn't and got her staff to do whatever they could to discount me and my injuries that Real Doctors @ MCV doctors saved and treated me for Grand Mal seizures only to have staff at S. Arms make fun of and neglect. I had to have surgery for spinal cord injuries they didn't even know I… had......fake rehab hospital and fake care................Don't know how they are allowed to stay in business, Oh yeah, Dr. Hawkins kept her job after neglecting me and refusing to get me help.

They watched as I was abused not once but twice by 2 males they had told me were safe. They didn't care for my health or safety. I watched this happen to 3 other woman and every time I see a commercial for Sheltering Arms I have PTSD. I would look for another doctor who is more qualified and concerned for their patients instead of their EGO.

Dr. Hawkins didn't even know I had a level one brain injury nor did she or any of her little cronies know that my spinal cord had two major injuries. They were taking turns making fun of my real body spasms at all 3 locations. I was yelled to the floor by two staff members that told me no one believed me and I could stop pretending to have a level one brain injury or spinal cord injuries that no one at Sheltering Arms addressed. I was made fun of and tossed around like a piece of trash. I just had spinal cord surgery on my lower spine to remove 2 cysts that made it difficult to walk and not have leg spasms and no one at Sheltering Arms helped me with my spinal cord injuries or my brain injuries.....they just pretended to help me while charging my insurance company and me for fake help. Sheltering Arms was the worst thing I have ever done in my life, they abused me and didn't treat my real medical problems like they pretended to do and cover up.

She over prescribed drugs to me as well as drugs I later found out I should NEVER BEEN PRESCRIBED. After seeing a specialist in each field ie, gynecology, sleep specialist, and endocrinologists I was shocked to find out she was giving me medications I should have NEVER BEEN PRESCRIBED. She PRESCRIBED opioids like they are candy. I was permanently damaged for the rest of my life as direct result of her negligence.
