Dr. Hillary Karen Liss, MD

Dr. Liss has been my HIV provider for years, since 2004 in fact. My experience with her vs the other reviews couldn't be further from the truth. I have never doubted her care and concern for me and she has helped me through a lot. There are times when she called BS on something I said or she was tough on me, but it never came across as mean or with an attitude. She does those things bc she genuinely cares and wants me to be healthy. I know her as kind and compassionate always willing to listen.

Knowledge wise, there is no doubt. She looks friendly and informative but she has a character that is to me an OFFENSIVE ATTITUDE and looks like she discriminates patients.. Gave a very OFFENSIVE comment even before she started to diagnose the patient. I hope she can avoid this ATTITUDE that added to patience agony. If you need to confirm my comment, i Am willing to PRESENT myself. Just give me ample time to be PRESENT. This happened on March 20, 2023 at Harborview 2w clinic at around 1300HR.

She should be out of practice!!!

Would never call me back after leaving messages for her to call me ! Using foul language at me . Had to get another Dr !

Patient is always wrong. Liss doesn't need to review facts before making diagnosis, or about discrediting prior diagnoses. Never apologizes. EVER. Bedside manner of a wolverine.

Dr. Liss should not, in my humble opinion, have any title in front of her name. She is by far one of the worst doctors I have ever had the misfortune of having. She has no bed side manner. She is rude, has made rude, hurtful comments to me, about me, which have no basis in fact or reality. While she was my primary care physician I worried constantly about what would happen if I ever had to go to ER and she needed to make decisions concerning my health. I feel very sorry for anyone who has to see this woman. Even the pharmacy workers where she works do not like dealing with her. That speaks volumes to me.
