Very knowledgeable, great listener, very detailed...staff very courteous and prompt. The only negative would be Dr. Fung is usually booked for at least 6 months; but he will attempt to work you into the schedule.

I totally agree with the other post. I was seen on a Monday to get lab results ( which I had to request). He told me clearly I didn't have lupus but I could possibly have it in the future so he prescribed me a medication that would PREVENT me from getting it ( which is NO such thing). When I asked about the side effects of the medicine he became defensive. He do not like you asking questions. I guess he feels you are questioning his judgment. My primary doctor contacted him on Wednesday and he gave him a definite diagnosis of Lupus.... Really!!! Whatever it is I'm done with him and will be seeing a rheumatologist in Temple.

HE REALLY DOESNT WANT TO SEE YOU ID YOU ARE ON MEDICARE. WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS FOR A FIVE MINUTE VISIT.HE IS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN PATIENTS ONLY MONEY. THE STAFF AND DR. FUNG ACT AS IF OUR TIME IS NOT VALUABLE I HAD TWO VISITS AND BOTH TIMES I HAD TO WAIT BECAUSE HE WAS WITH DRUG REPS. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

my daughter has Lupus....has been seeing him in Waco for approx 4 years.....only gives 15 min. visits....have to ask for lab work and follow-ups. If you ask too many questions and/or complaints, he will dismiss you as a patient....DO NOT waste your time.....go immediately to Dallas/Fort Worth area for GOOD treatment !!!
