Dr. Hiralal Goklani Maheshwari, MD

Doc is very good at understanding each patients needs. He always makes sure to ask about my job and family and takes the time to listen instead of asking just to ask. I would highly recommend Dr. Maheshwari to anyone I know.

I was referred to this Dr. after I found out my blood sugar was off the charts after having chemo. Also my thyroid numbers went up. He was wonderful & compassionate, explained why this can happen after chemo and set me up with all the meds I needed, as well as advised of other things I can do to help myself like exercise & changing my diet. He actually said he was sorry that I had to go through this after everything I have already gone through with the cancer & that this may not be permanent, we just have to start on medication and see what happens as we go along. I'm not used to a doctor being so kind and compassionate! It was a breath of fresh air to be treated like a person instead of a used car that needed something to be fixed. I'm very happy with this doctor & I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for an endocrinologist.

Dr Maheshwari is a breathe of fresh air! Smart and kind. Most importantly, after a year of feeling crappy, I was told I should see an endocrinologist. About 5 days after my initial consult, I started feeling better! I wish I would have made the decision to see Dr Maheshwari sooner. I was so surprised that He asked me about what I was eating, stress ...things that most docs don’t pay attention to. I’m a health coach and personal trainer and this is very important to me. I highly recommend Dr Maheshwari!!

Unprofessional

He wants a visit but does little to nothing beyond an A1c check during the visits

Dr. Maheshwari met with my wife for a total of 20 minutes and charged her $400 for the office visit. That works out to $1,200/hr in case you are wondering. To top it off the doctor was dismissive of her input in regards to a functional medicine approach to solving the root cause and instead prescribed a diabetic medicine for my wife's thyroid problem. I'm not a doctor so we'll leave that comment for what it's worth, just wanted to warn folks they will pay $400 for 20 minute consultation.

Just terrible. Dr. has been missing for 5+ days. Office number keeps going to an answering service that didn't even know calls were being forwarded. I can't get the treatment that I need and no one can find the doctor or the office staff.

Can't communicate with pharmacy correctly or in timely manner. I'm a diabetic and have run out of insulin more than once because of him and his staff not responding quickly for refills
