Dr. Hirenkumar M Jani, MD

Dr. Jani is our family doctor. We have gone to him for years. His philosophy seems to be preventing disease so that you don’t have to treat disease, thus the need for bloodwork. He is intuitive in his diagnosis, but will refer you to a specialist, who in our experience always confirmed his diagnosis. Spends as much time as needed explaining things to his patients. I could go on and on. Don’t know what we’ll do if he ever retires. P.S. - he saved my mother’s life by getting her to the best doctors at UAB when she had been told she had 2 months to live. That was in 2002. We still have her in 2019.

The best physician I have ever been treated by, Dr. Jain is like a member of our family. The old saying goes"you can't choose your family, but can choose your friends", can't say better his is a fire d and family.

He doesn't speak very good english. He don't want to listen to what you have to say. He's one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. He does have a very friendly staff. But they would have to be good people to work for him

would never return every visit blood work a must and receipt automatically includes 30 day follow up to review blood when asked what if all blood work is normal do I still need an appointment yes why obvious MONEY - checked with others he always requires blood an office visits and they have been in repeatedly to hear normal blood labs and charged for appointment each time - his lab is part of his practice Health South and he receives % of what he sends out for lab work. No bedside manner
