Dr Hirra Ali, MD

Dr. Ali was amazing and I have to say that I am so happy that the other Doc that I was going to consult with was not available for weeks. Dr. Alli met with me and assessed my umbilical hernia and my summer schedule and wanted to make sure that my plans would not be interrupted, so she shifted her schedule around to fit my surgery in within 2 days. She was patient and she explained everything thoroughly to me. She even was willing to speak to my sister in law who is a physician and answered questions without feeling as it we were undermining her experience. Dr. Ali understood that surgery to most people is complex and nerve-wracking. She explained that there was no pressure to get it done through her and I did not feel any pressure to commit. She has incredible bedside manners, coming to see me to make sure I was calm and comfortable while waiting in the pre-op room. After the surgery was over, she called my wife to give her an update and then called me in the evening to make sure that… I was doing alright. She wasn't rushing me and chatted for at least 15minutes and made sure I did not have any concerns or questions. Dr. Ali is the type of surgeon that one needs to go to! She is very caring and very skilled. The incisions on my stomach are minimal and I have no discomfort or pain after a few days. I feel like a million bucks! I I truly feel that Dr. Ali follows the oath that she took to take care of patients and their needs! Her staff is also very nice and responsive and were assisting me every step of the way. I cannot thank the Doc enough for what she has done for me.

Not a caring doctor. Not professional not understanding. Didn’t even explained well didn’t even know what I had she wanted me to see another doctor. She looked like she wanted to go home. She rushed me out but made me wait over 30 mins for her. Waist of time having to drive one hour to take time off work to be told she couldn’t do anything to drive back home during traffic hours. No empathy at all.

Dr. Ali Hirra is precise with details and explain to patient the importance of understanding the procedure that she will perform , she is caring and compassionate with patients , wonder full bed manners and a good person but most of all a great Doctor, I am hers for ever. wont change her for anyone in this world.

Dr Ali has been an angel sent from heaven for my family. She did emergency surgery on my mom, went over every detail of her care while she was recovering and called us everyday to give us updates. I sincerely believe it is because of her that my mother is still here today to see her grandkids grow up.

Dr. Ali was there for my family during one of the hardest times we have ever faced when my dad was in the icu after emergency surgery that she performed. She was there before we got to hospital and stayed way past dinner almost every night. After a long of operating, she always made it a point to come talk to the entire family and explain the days events and what they meant for my dad's recovery. I felt at peace knowing she was there for my father and will send anyone of my family members to her any day!
