Dr. Hisham Bismar, MD

I have been seeing Dr Bismar for a few years. He has always been very professional and kind to me. When I first started going to him I smoked, Dr Bismar educated me about how bad it is. I didn't listen keep smoking. A year later I ended up in really bad shape on life support I haven't smoked since been 3 years I have stopped. Please know Dr Bismar only wants you to stop for your own good. I love Dr Bismar and his staff thank yall all

I have been in the medical profession as an RN for 48 years and can with great confidence state that this physician is the worst doctor I have come in contact with both professionally and personally. His staff is not friendly and welcoming nor are they even adequate at their jobs. Numerous mistakes were made while they attempted to schedule ordered tests. I dropped off all my records, including a CD of my chest X-ray and CT scan the day before my initial (and only) appointment with this physician. I also completed all the required paperwork the day before my appointment. When the doctor walked into the examination room the first thing he said was that he had no records and what was I there for. After finding the records I left (in the hopes he would at least review prior to the appointment). He was terse uncommunicative and didn’t adequately answer any questions I had a chance to ask. While attempting to view my lab results online, he stated he couldn’t “pull them up”. I had the… results on my phone and told him so, while I began to pull the results up, he stood said “I’ll be right back” and walked out of the room. Two minutes later a nurse came in and said “ OK, you’re all set”. I was shocked and stated I had many more questions for the doctor, her response was “well, he said he see you in 4 weeks”! Then she escorted me to the receptionist to set up another appointment. Remember, he said he’d be right back, we never discussed my lab reports, nor did he answer any of the many questions I had. This man spoke at me, not to me. I would call his behavior misogynistic, but I haven’t seen his behavior towards men. I will inform any of the many medical personnel I come in contact with about this man’s abysmal behavior with patients. His new name should be abysmal Bismar. Do not waste your time and money seeing this man, he doesn’t care about you or your medical issues. I have since seen another pulmonologist, who was wonderful AND gave me a completely different diagnosis!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Very judgemental and won't listen or give you a chance to speak. Don't go there if you smoke. Everything no matter what is blamed on smoking. I'm there for help not criticism.

All I'll say is don't go there if you smoke because nothing will be done. Quite judgemental.

Dr H. Bismar literally tortured me on the operating room table by starting a very painful procedure before I was under anesthesia. My screams and tears did not stop him. The anesthesiologist had to step in and stop him. I am a woman and I believe that his Islamic ideology and the typical misogynistic attitude towards women with this ideology had something to do with the way I was treated by Dr Bismar.

How in the world did this Dr earn a "Top Doctor" award?

This Doctor is extremely rude and arrogant . He doesn't feel the need to answer questions as to all the test he orders Doppler study, PFT, sleep study, and X-rays. He expects his patients to blindly follow him like sheep. Seriously this Dr is all about how much money he can make off of you.

Entirely too many patients to properly care for . His office is more like running cattle through a cattle pen. Untrustworthy and no compassion. If you do go to him, be sure to take a book, water and snack. He runs two to three hours behind

He's all about the money. The office is dirty. The staff is so unorganized. I've caught several errors on statements so watch those close.

I would not recommend him. He schedules tons and tons of patients so the office wait time is between 3 and 4 hours. He seems to be very greedy and runs every test he can to milk your insurance. When you finally get in to see him you better talk fast because he is in and out within 3 minutes and that's includes your exam
