Dr. Hisham Dokainish

This guy lacks bedside manners. Disrespectful and condescending. Doesn’t work collaboratively with other physicians on my care team. Because of him, other doctors in my care did not want to take care of my problems. He chases other specialists away, he thinks he is holier than thou. Do not ever go to him. There are plenty of highly qualified doctors out there .

All I know is that I wish I had read these comments before I went in to see dr.egomanic. The room was about to explode with all the hot air in his head. I’ve seen several “specialists” but this one mad me so uncomfortable that I had no patience to listen to further listen to his ignorant preaching. He tried to tell me that it wasn’t his fault that he didn’t have all the info he needed to give me pointed health advice. And so I ask and wonder what the heck am I doing here. Taking time out of my day for a follow up that is meaningless. Just a way to gouge the government for consult fees and pretending to be a know it all doctor but knows nothing and doesn’t care to be humble enough to ask the right questions b/c his ego gets in the way.

Friendly and caring physician

Red flag. Red flag. Red flag. This person is a heartless cardiologist. Rude, arrogant and condescending. Please be on your gaurd and be careful , even though he comes across normal at first. We don't know what his skills are as cardiologist but being good judges of character his hostile and classless behaviour was enough not to want to have anything to do with him. If you had a similar experience please have courage to speak up or report his behaviour to McMaster University, perhaps they can give him the support he needs or discipline/supervise him properly.

Rude, arrogant, and for some reason he kept on insisting on speaking his terrible broken Italian to us. He seemed more concerned about walking out the door to for lunch than treating my husband,and food should be the last thing on his mind with the gut he had. He might have passed his required exams to become a doctor, but he has not a clue on how to communicate with people.Please find another doctor.
