Dr. Hiten V Kisnad, MD

Dr. Kisnad is argumentative and extremely rude, completely disinterested in discussing actual problems, and cuts off patients from speaking. His wife is crazy rude and if you speak to her at all, you’ll get banned from the office. She can’t handle communication on the most basic level. Maybe it’s racism, I don’t know, but her behavior is bizarre. He won’t prescribe meds for more than a 2-week supply because he wants to charge $100 for his ten minute visit to renew the prescriptions. No exaggeration here, the appointments are actually 10 minutes. If you want to feel bullied and discounted, go here, but if you want real help, avoid these greedy money mongers!!!

This has to be the worse doctor’s office I’ve ever walked into. It took almost 3 weeks to get an appt. I walked into their beyond bright orange office with a horrible air fragrance that was overwhelming taking over the whole office. The “Dr” came around the corner and said someone would be with me. Didn’t not say hi, how ya doing, nice to meet you, nothing. Then his “secretary” came from around the corner and slipped through her window a clip board with 20 pages to fill out. They could have sent that to me and I could have filled all that out during those 3 weeks I had to wait. On the 3rd form they wanted me to sign, it stated all kind of additional fees for regular services. I immediately told the “secretary” that I would not sign that form. She told the doctor but they did t say anything else. After filling out all those papers, 30 mins later, I gave them back to the “doctor” and his “secretary”. The doctor immediately said I didn’t sign one form. I said I refuse to sign a form that… states he’ll charge me $90 for a scrip form a prescription refill. Not the meds just the scrip. (Mind you I have some of the best insurance out there). It also said medical records would be $1/page and $30 processing fee. So after I told him o would not sign it he said I could find a different doctor. I am more than happy to find a caring psychiatrist and not one that only out for the money. There was no compassion from them. Very cold place. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone....EVER. I will also be following up with a complaint to the health insurance company and the state medical board. I have never had anyone let alone a psychiatrist act this way. STAY AWAY FROM KISNAD HITEN

Absolutely, unequivocally the worst experience I've had w anyone within the medical profession. I don't ask or expect to be coddled (ironically not in psychiatry of all fields) and only ask for basic respect. What the office does not disclose when you make your appointment is that you will need two billed visits within a couple of days of one another to get any sort of diagnosis or treatment plan. After a 230.00 copay I was told to make an appointment for the following day that would be 108.00 w insurance. So 230.00 to fill out forms and have an automoton ask some general questions. No resolution. No treatment plan. ???? But hey he is incredibly prompt!

Dr Kisnad is one of the best doctors I have seen. Knowledgeable on the latest standards and medicines. He has helped me tremendously. Being military I have seen lots of doctors, Dr Kisnad is diffently the best.

One of the worst doctors I have ever seen, and his staff is just as bad! The only reason for the follow up is to make himself more money. Dispenses drugs like a street pusher.

Does not acknowledge side effects of medications. Try's to cover up side effects with more medications and blames them on underlying conditions and or illnesses. Prescribed my child a medication to which one of the major FDA warnings is suididal thoughts. When we reported the suicidial thiughts to him. He looked at my child and said, "You can't say those things." Lied to us about the DEA regulations on civilian physicians. Stated he could not write for more than 30 days for psychostimulates. This forced us to have to come in at least once a month. We also had to see another provider while on Vacation so we would not run out of medication.

major pill pusher. he drugged one ofmy family members with overmedication. she had to go to another dr. just to get strainghtened out.

The good doctor is most concerned about how much the insurance will cover.

When I first started going to him I thought he was OK. But then he wants you to come back every two weeks and doesn't want to write refills on your medication. He also tries to talk you into Expensive brand name drugs when a generic will work just fine! To have to come every two weeks for an antidepressant and anxiety medication is silly. Its like he wants to make the money and knows that you need your anxiety medication so you will come every two weeks, it was kind of like being held hostage! There are plenty of other Mental Health doctors that will write you 3 month supplies and see you every three months after you are feeling better!
