I don’t know what happened to my other post it must’ve been deleted I had a colonoscopy three pulps taken out the doctor sliced a hole in my colon, I was blowing up literally had to go for an emergency surgery the same night he did not come to see me at the hospital nor respond nothing!! He left a message he was going on vacation do you want this kind of doctor to work on you ????. I will slice from under my boobs to below my belly button to go in and fix this procedure Dr Chauhan did PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HIM ??

My Daughter has been seeing this guy for a few months. She has Chronic constipation and has been in/out of the hospital for months. He has done a Colonoscopy and had ordered a sitz mark test for her on 2 occasions but it never was fulfilled. I doubt that it was ordered. This week she ended up admitted to the hospital. I got a call from her that he had recommended her to a Surgeon for a subtotal colonectomy. This is a life changing operation for a 30 year old! The Surgeon was recorded and twice said He thought it was a radical decision! He came to visit my daughter the next day, I was on the phone enroute to the hospital. He said he had exhausted all medical means of helping my daughter and ask which Surgeon we wanted to have do the surgery. My daughter told him the prior surgeon had left for a week and turned it over to another. He said I'll talk with him and have him come visit you. When I arrived my daughter was in miserable shape and resigned to the fact she had no choice but the… surgery. We were preparing her for the surgery and coming to terms with the possibility of a colostomy bag for the remainder of her life. The second Surgeon came in and basically told us he was not comfortable doing such a "radical surgery" and refused to do it. He recommended my daughter go elsewhere and seek a Colorectal Surgeon to give an opinion prior to proceeding. The Hospitalist Dr came and told us the site mark test is necessary prior to going towards surgery, he would order it but she would remain in the hospital for 5 days to finish the test. That is crazy, it is an outpatient procedure. He later told us to get our daughter out of this hospital and to Phoenix for another opinion. The Head Nurse told us the same. In closing, we have filed a formal grievance with the hospital against this Dr. I cannot recommend him nor the Hospital. If I could give him 0 stars I would. As the prior comments have also noted, his bedside manner is non existent.

During my colonoscopy I was screaming because of the pain. He had No concern for my well being. I will not go back to him again.

No I would recommend him. He had no bedside manners at all. This is my 3rd time going to him no other doctors to go to. He's not interested in patients concerns. When you ask a question he acts like he is mad not friendly at all. Not going back I will just suffer and do the best I can.

Must have had something else on his mind. Did not hear some of the symptoms I told him, or did not believe me. Gave a prescription that made things worse, ordered test & sent me to a surgeon.

Wait, wait & wait ...in lobby, in exam room & in assistants office to schedule appointment. At least he apologized. Doctor a bit arrogant, but better than he was a year ago.
