Dr. Hoa N Nguyen, MD

I can say Dr. N. Hoa Nguyen is one of the best doctors in the world and is such an amazing person. He helped me years ago about 11 or 12 years ago was my last visit. I will never forget Dr. Hoa N. Nguyen. I am so grateful, wish I could tell him in person one day. Because of Dr. Hoa N. Nguyen, I was healed and also years later helped me, to be blessed with my two beautiful children, my daughter and my son. Thank you so much Dr. Hoa N. Nguyen. I hope this message reaches you. El mejor!!!

I'm a family physician and was appalled at the care my mother received at this place. I went with her to an appointment. She has low medical literacy and did not quite understand what the appointment was for. She told me "something about a cyst". When Dr. Nguyen walked in and asked my mom why she was here she replies " I don't know, my Ob said I had a cyst". He then proceeded to examine her. I stopped him and politely asked if he could explain a bit more why she was referred before he did the exam. He said he would have to look at her chart. Excuse me? You didn't look at the chart before you came into the room? And then you are going to do an exam when you don't know what you are looking for? He immediately became defensive, telling me this was the way he does things. I asked- what did the referral say? His response was "I wish I had a referral paper in front of me." Ok so you don't have a referral or understand why she is here and still want to just do an exam? After some… discussion and with my mom's permission he proceeded with the exam and THEN looked at her chart. He ordered a pelvic US. Her OB had already ordered one if he had taken the time he would have seen this. Then he tells my mom she has a rectocele and cystocele but no need to do anything if she does not have any symptoms. My mom just nods. Did she know what that meant? NO. I asked him to explain. And what symptoms should she look for? I had to ask him to explain. I don't know how this guy has been practicing for as long as he has. He had terrible bedside manner and I would not recommend or ever go to him again.

If you want a gynecologist: -whose front office staff members make you wait for 45 minutes to give them a urine sample after you screamed and banged on the door THREE times begging them for a container, then this is the one for you. -who drags a post-surgical 6-ft long cotton rag out of you WHILE STANDING, then this is the one for you. Dr. Ngyuen should have asked me to lie down and remove the rag, but he didn’t. It hurt so much! He just didn't care. -who tells you that after a hysterectomy and bladder surgery that you can “Eat Anything”, then this is the one for you. My bladder burned for 5 months because of all the fruit juice that I was drinking. When I went to a urologist, I discovered that my body was too acidic, and that I needed to eat vegetables especially cucumber at each meal to stop urinating every 2 hours, second-stream, and permanent bladder burning.

I did not like Doctor and all people who work for him. The masks made them crazy- all of them very rood except pone nurse that work as his assistant

Dr Nguyen is brilliant. In addition to another procedure, he performed a full hysterectomy on me last Friday. I am amazed at how manageable the pain is, considering people were telling me how much this procedure hurts. That tells me Dr Nguyen knows what he is doing. He also did a clean job with the incision which so far is healing nicely. He came to see me every day while in the hospital to check on how I was doing. I cannot thank him enough for taking such great care of me. I would also like to give a shout out to all the wonderful nurses at Memorial Regional Hospital who watched over me with such loving care. Sedonie, Sarai, Kendra, Avril, LaKenya, Lois (sorry if I forgot anyone ... thank you from my heart!! ????

He ruined my life, it will never be fixable, I have had so many problems and complications from his surgery and you can't even get a call back or an appointment to see him when you have problems - I had to get another doctor. His staff is awful and rude and the wait time is unreal - the only time the phone calls and wait time are good are as a new patient, after that forget it.

I had surgery over 3 months ago and recently began to have bad abdominal pain. I have called 6 times over the past month - speaking to two different people and leaving two messages explaining my situation all with the promise of a call back. The last message I left was two days ago and still nothing. Headed to the ER instead since no one will return my call. Very disappointed.

Had a precancerous tumor on my right ovary, got in got it done and just as super as he could be!! The Staff Is always on it. They have a busy office and I am certain they do the best job possible.

Dr. Hoa Nguyen is hands down the best Doctor ever. Before him I had the worst luck ever being seen by any Dr due to my age. Thanks to him my life has changed for the best after my surgery. The staff at his office is nothing like him. They are so beyond rude. Don’t ask them any questions because they give attitude. Any concerns you have they’ll make you feel stupid. I travel 5 hrs on way to see Dr. Nguyen so yes I like to call ahead of time to make sure all my ducks are in a row before I get turned away. And this staff gets soo rude that I question even going for my follow ups with him
