This Dr. Is very rude I wouldn't reccomend her at all to any one do yourself a favor and don't even give her a chance because she sure won't you! wouldn't take my dead or dying dog to this woman and that's a fact

Dr. Matthews is far from the kind of physician that I associate with the UW Medicine's exceptional quality and professionalism. My chosen primary care physician at that clinic is Dr. Eunice Chen, whose professionalism is exemplary, but it was her day off. As advised by my allergist (I am affected by a seasonal pollen allergy and the accompanying coughing) to get a prescription for a codeine tablet to suppress my coughing for one hour, during a brain MRI. Dr. Matthews displayed that she is bereft of listening skills: she was more intent in going off in unrelated tangents, with a need to argue. After too long, it finally dawned on her, after I kept repeating "one codeine tablet for one hour," what I was requesting, and she wrote a prescription for not only one tablet, but two! It is all too clear that Dr. Matthews has personal issues and sensitivities that are counterproductive, that she has cognitive distortions that interfere with her hearing patients who are educated, such that they… don't worship her. I would advise her to look into the many offerings that can help physicians with such issues.

Dr. Matthews is a top notch doctor. She is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. She is an excellent doctor. She was my doctor during my pregnancies and I could not have had a better doctor. Truly cares about her patients and is extemely through. You know you are receiving the best possible care. If you are looking for a doctor who know her stuff, this is your doctor.

Dr. Matthews was my OB during my pregnancy and is now my general doctor and she is the best doctor I have ever had. She truly cares for her patients and it's very easy to talk to her about medical concerns. Her staff are also great!
