Dr. Hollis Edward Phillips, MD

Both Dr. Hollis Phillips and his son Mark Phillips are excellent doctors. They are two of a few of the physicians left who take all the time necessary to talk to and evaluate a patient. If the rating depended solely on them and not on their office staff, I would give them a 5+++. However, the receptionist is argumentative and can't be depended on to follow through if she promises to call you back. If you have trouble with her when you call to make an appointment, don't be put off. It is worthwhile tolerating their ill-tempered receptionist to get to see either of the the doctors Phillips.

My family has used Dr Phillips for over 25 years. He treats each person with full attention to detail and care. We have some very serious health issues between the 3 of us, and he has always kept up to date and given us great referrals to specialists when needed. I have referred many friends and co-workers to this practice.
