Dr. Hollis Jill Crowe Underwood, MD

I have never had an internist as kind, thorough, smart as Hollis Underwood. It is a huge loss to Honor Health, as she has left that practice. I would love to know where she is. I trusted her 100%z

Will not prescribe any medication for more than 30 days. Everytime, she wrote a prescription, I reminded her I'm charged the same copay for a 30 day supply or a 90 day supply. She doesn't care that writting a 30 day supply of medication costs me more money.

She's fine, as long as you don't have medical issues or questions. She doesn't respond to messages or her patient portal. It takes her a month to post lab results. She told me to continue taking a medication, after I told her it didn't help me, after taking it for 6 months. I requested specific blood work that I need checked every 6 months. When I asked about the results, she said they were good. I finally saw the lab results, she requested the wrong tests and one of them said it was high.

Dr. Underwood was very quick to prescribe many medications and did not go over the side effects. When I told her I was not interested in taking the prescriptions, she did not seem too happy. She diagnosed several health problems, some severe. I was very concerned so I immediately got a second opinion and it turns out that none of these diagnoses were correct. In fact, I'm in great health. I can't help but think that somehow my unwillingness to take her advice directly affected my test results.

I have been a patient a few years and like the doctor. I feel she is not accurately diagnosing my condition and since she has no definitive answer suggests that I am mental. This diagnosis is now a permanent part of my medical record which infuriates me. The correct tests are not ordered but rather the old tests are repeated.

I love Dr Underwood. I have known her and been her patient for at least 13 years. It's like visiting and old friend now. She is VERY thorough, absoloutely listens to you, offers many great suggestions, addresses any concerns i have, and is just a great doctor. I am not the best patient ,,but she has put up with me all these years...and that's saying something. :)

too quick to put you on medication instead of figuring out what is causing the problem. does not review side effects of meds with you

Very difficult obtaining appointment -always given an excuse by staff. Biller uses wrong codes. MD cannot make definitive diagnosis so summarizes condition as mental. The fact is she failed to listen, observe and order the correct testing.

I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes until I was seen. The appointment went smoothly. I was told I did not have to pay a co-pay by Betty, then front office assistant, who was a little on the rude side. After going to the Lab to get my results, I was sent a bill for $110. This was an annual check up appointment and insurance covers the appointment. When I called the lab I was told that the doctor had coded the lab form incorrectly. It took 4 and a half months of calling Dr. Underwood's office to finally get the coding correctly. Then the other day I received another bill from Dr. Underwood for 2 office visits. The office considers picking up the results paper an office visit. I will not be returning to this office ever again. There are many people who understand service and assisting people, and the ladies (Betty & Kelsey) at this office were not helpful.
