Dr. Holly Fern Greenfield, MD

After a 4 level lumbar fusion surgery with severe complications I was in excrutiating pain and was later diagnosed CRPS. I have lost 25 pounds and am still very ill, almost 6 months later. It was very mentally abusive of Dr. Holly Greenfield to write in my medical record I was an attention seeker. This is an inappropriate judgement of a very medically sick patient in a hospital, and I do nor recall ever speaking to her. She should be ashamed of herself, she has no right being a doctor, and her license should be provoked. Inhumane and very harmful to the patients.

You never met me, know nothing about me or my history, and wrote lies in my medical record.

She is an alcoholic and the worst person I have ever met!

Dr Greenfield saw my daughter at PSL 15 minutes after she awakened for sedation. She asked questions demonstrating she had already made a diagnosis. She did not ask anything about family history. She arrogantly dismissed my daughter’s therapist and psychiatrist by saying, “I suspect I know more than they do.” Her rush to judgment deeply hurt my daughtI have a 20 min break. Interestingly Kristin's period started today. She's been having it almost every other week for the last several months. You know that extreme pms has always been a part of her history. The doctors and her therapist believe she may have pmdd. (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder). She has all the symptoms - including headaches and high bp, moody, suicidal, lethargic. I know that the way she's eaten over the years has contributed to the miscommunication between her hormones and neurotransmitters. It so angers me that dr gave her that bpd label and Dave cheered for it. But I am grateful they may be onto something I have… certainly observed in varying intensities over the years. I think they may release Kristin tomorrow. I will check in later.er and threw a grenade into family dynamics. Doctors and her long-term therapist and psychiatrist have diagnosed a medical condition explaining her depression and behaviors. This doctor needs to be removed. Do not see her. She could not have done more harm.

Took me off my treatment plan! Would not listen! Decided what I was saying! Had her own agenda, and does not care about patients!

Completely negligent. She refused to change my medication or order any tests despite me telling her "I'm not okay." I believe I'd be dead right now had I stayed with her.

Dr. Greenfield is an excellent Dr., she was very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable, she joked at appropriate times and was extremely caring when that was needed. She is so good at diagnosis, and is vry interested that things are working out well. Dr. Greenfield took as long as I wanted, answered all of my questions and asked what else I needed from her, also told me to feel free to email her, call or make an appointment if I needed to. She is extremely briliant and is wonderful at making you feel at ease and that you understand your diagnosis and meds, and how to help yourself as well. Would, and have recommended her.

Dr. Greenfield was great, cut right to the chase and got things handled. Very well versed in medications and diagnosis, spent as much time as I needed and gave explicit instructions on what I am to do. A previous review on this site gave me concern, then when I met her, she is great. She is not a warm and fuzzy therapist, that is not what a Psychiatrist does, she diagnosis problems, prescribes meds,and follows up to make sure the meds are doing their job. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I was given a sheet to fill out to rate how I was feeling. I filled it out while I waited to be called. Upon being called by her I was greeted in a very friendly manner and escorted to her office. Nice, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. She did a history on me and she listened intently to me and asked appropriate questions to figure out the best course of treatment for me. She did a great background analysis which included questions about family history. She was easy to talk to and I never felt rushed. She's compassionate and understanding and I felt like she really wanted to help me get better. When we were done she asked what else could she do for me while I was there. That was nice as I know they are usually fully booked back to back and she was offering to assist me with anything else. I'd highly recommend her to others.

Multiple Doctors and staff members have reported to me that they dread having to work with her as she is emotionally abusive and insulting to all. I Felt worse than in about 10 years after my only 1 visit! She repeatedly condescended and insulted me AND used profanity when referring to one of my other docs! Very sad to see such a pathetic disorganized discheveled "psychiatrist". The subsequent second opinion from another psychiatrist went very well.
