I believe providers hold a great responsibility and power in patient care. This power should never be used to intimidate, manipulate, or withhold care based on personal bias. Patients deserve ethical, unbiased treatment based on medical need not providers mood or assumptions or even desires. I urge others to be cautious and if seeing this nurse advocate strongly for yourself.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my appointment with Dr. Lavender was so unsettling that I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment she entered the room, her tone was sharp and unwelcoming. She made it clear that if I didn’t comply with her demands, I wouldn’t receive the care I needed. I felt pressured—almost forced—to agree to her terms on the spot. Worse, the treatment plan she outlined turned out not to match what she later provided. In my experience, it felt like a deliberate tactic to “teach me a lesson” while technically staying within legal limits. Overall, I left the visit feeling judged, intimidated, and shortchanged. Patients deserve respect, honesty, and care that aligns with what’s promised—not coercion or half-measures. If you value a provider who listens and keeps their word, I would look elsewhere.

She was cold and dismissive from the start, showing little interest in listening or understanding my situation. I don't even think she read my medical files. It felt like she walked in with her mind already made up. There was no compassion, no curiosity, and no effort to treat me as an individual. Just judgment. I left the appointment feeling worse than when I arrived—not because of my condition, but because of how I was treated. There are plenty of doctors who take the time to listen and treat patients with respect. In my opinion, this is not one of them.
