Dr. Holly S Thro, MD

Worst doctor I have ever had! Her own personal opinions and prejudices get in the way of her providing actual medical treatment and diagnosis. Her bedside manner is horrible, she does not listen, make eye contact, or follow-up. She has even said to me "I always tell my patients if they have any significant or chronic medical issues they need to move to another state". Wow! I'm not sure why this woman became a doctor late in her life, it certainly isn't to help heal or help people. Claims to specialize in psychiatric issues, which is false. She doesn't even know what state programs exist for mental health care! Stay away from this doctor, FAR AWAY!!!

Holly Thro wants easy work and will hurt patients badly if they are not young (she says that!) and very easily pliable. A poor listener, very determined to follow her own prejudices!

Just saw her for the first time. She is an excellent listener and was very thorough and thoughtful.

dr thro has negative, cynical attitude toward her patients. but you can begin to cut through that after multiple visits. that's about all that can be hoped for in this day and age, sad though that is. patients are at mercy of a very negative health care system out for maximizing profits. sad, indeed.

liked and trusted her, but hated pen bay as always. best friends say avoid pen bay always! total dishonesty in maine!!
