Unprofessional office manager, Mary. I received multiple confirmation texts and e-mails confirming my appointment. Then rearrange my schedule for a zoom meeting only to be told 1 minute before my meeting that my appt was cancelled due to my intake form not being filled out. They called me because they saw I was in the zoom meeting waiting to be seen. They said they called and left voicemails that week but I get so many spam calls I don’t pick up calls I don’t recognize. The intake form also can’t be done earlier; only week before but you are scheduled 2 months out. Mary took no responsibility for the confirmation texts/emails I received and it was disappointing she was the OM because she didn’t act like it. If the office is running well it isn’t because of her it’s because of the Doctor. I understand miscommunication can happen but would have liked them to take some responsibility and pretend to be sorry maybe at least say I will be on the waitlist. I would not recommend this office if… you want to get in somewhere in a timely manner maybe for a standard recall. Unfortunate I have to bypass these professionals just to get an appointment. I also want to add my husband works at Hoag in Internal Medicine and referred patients to this office as my parents go as well. There will be no further referrals sent here.

Great Doctor. Really nice staff. Really thin walls. They need to add office music to help with patient privacy.

I had a colonoscopy done by her and explained I did not need a lot of anesthesia because I get ill from too much. I had a previous one done by another physician and it was a twilight sedation that I was able to watch on the screen. She paid no attention and I was out cold even though I asked for twilight sedation as I had from another Physician. I was sick for two days. She was joking /flirting around with the anesthesiologists about my request. She has very little regard for the patients, at least that was my impression. I had to see her a year later because of constant diaheria. I had to have so many stool samples taken all the way to the Hoag lab for testing within 30 minutes of going , by my poor spouse. I lost count. She questioned me about my marriage, my job my personal life etc she said it must be emotional perhaps a psychologist could help me. I got a very angry and told her I did not appreciate the comment and I was going to get another opinion. If she didn’t have… something else she could test. She finally told me there was a test i would have to pay for if they didn’t Find anything wrong. i told her I would pay whatever because I had been having this problem for 6 weeks , I had to blow air into test tubes and mail It to a lab out of state, which I did. At the follow up appt. she told me the results hadn’t come back yet, so she must be right. As I was starting to check it the Nurse went on the computer and my results indicated I did indeed have a major problem. It was C-Diff an infection causing my diarrhea She never apologized, put me on medication for serval weeks and I never went back to see her. I would never refer anyone to her. She has no regard for the patient, at least in my case. This is a case where I wanted to tell her the doctor is supposed to , first do no harm. This was a terribly degrading experience..

I was pressured into posting an online review in the Dr's office during an appointment. Since I would not have anonymity, I was obliged to post a positive review.. However now in the privacy of my own home, I would warn other patients to choose a different gastroenterologist. #1) Dr. Mehrabian, stood by my bedside as I was gaining consciousness from anesthesia, yelling at me because the prep was not thorough enough, although I followed her written instructions exactly. #2) She also was explaining her findings as i was drifting in and out of consciousness from the sedation, and again yelled at me saying " I've already told you 2 times" even though I could not remember what she said because I was not yet fully conscious. #3 She told me that she found cancer, as I was waking, although the lab results proved that no cancer was evident.... Highly unprofessional. She has a very big problem with anger management....... #4 Her recommendations post procedure were not helpful, … only offering me medications with side effects and not suggesting any lifestyle adaptations to manage my condition... I had to do my own research to control and manage my condition. Her office staff also gave me a very hard time with prepayments for procedures, although I have excellent insurance which covered all costs.

So comfortable Under this doctors care I’m glad I went to her I recommend anybody who has fear of a colonoscopy go see this doctor I did best thing I ever did

Dr. Mehrabian and her staff are truly terrific. She is a great doctor with real compassion for her patients. Thanks to her astute observations and efficient treatment plan, I have been experiencing no symptoms now for nearly 3 months. I truly thank Dr. Mehrabian and her staff for such great care.

Dr Mehrabian is an amazing compassionate doctor I’ve been struggling with issues since 2009 and so many doctors she is the first to truly listen to me and is helping me get to the root of the problem I can’t thank her enough for taking the time and energy to help me The staff is so friendly and caring and will take the time to answer my many many questions about insurance and are always wonderful when I call on the phone with questions I Can’t say enough for this wonderful team I am so happy I found them

Dr. Mehrabian is incredibly thorough and caring. She is very professional, friendly, & explains things in detail. She is by far one of the best doctors that I have ever encountered! Her staff is great as well!

Dr Mehrabian excels in her field. After spending a week at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester with my husband with no clear path to recovery for him, Dr M correctly diagnosed his problem and adjusted/changed his medications. He was healthy again soon afterwards. We both find her to be not only exceptionally bright, but also compassionate and friendly. An office visit with Dr Mehrabian is like a breath of fresh air!
