Dr. Homyar Noshir Karanjia, MD

This was my second experience with Rothman Institute, although my first experience with Dr. Karanjia. I can truly say that he made me feel so at ease and comfortable with his excellent bedside manner and his superb knowledge of orthopedics! He took the time to explain my results and treatment plan in detail. He made me feel as if I was his only patient and that my care was a priority. I will definitely refer anyone who needs orthopedic care to Dr. Karanjia!

Dr. Karanjia was excellent. My 16yr old son was experiencing foot pain. Dr. K took his time going over the X-ray and actually ordered an MRI because he wasn't convinced the X-ray was showing him everything. He was thorough, he answered all of our questions and actually had a very good sense of humor. It felt like he had a genuine concern for my son's well being. The staff, Samantha in particular, was friendly and professional. We had a great experience with Dr Karanjia and Rothman

Very pleasant visit with Dr Karanjia. He was thorough in his explanation regarding my injury and answered all the questions about my treatment and length of recovery. He was also very friendly, and had a great sense of humor which is always appreciated !

Have great confidence with him. He was helpful with my left foot and there was no question that I would go to him for my right foot.

Dr. K was thorough, explained things in an easy to understand way, spent a good amount of time with me and I didn’t have to wait long. This was at Rothman Orthopedics in Marlton, NJ and my visit was a follow-up to Urgent Care 10 days prior. He was wonderful and had perfect English!

I went to see Dr. Karanjia for pain in my lower leg. The office did an x-ray of my ankle (not the source of the pain) before I even saw the doctor. When I saw him he told me I had a torn muscle in my leg and ordered a brace which cost $88.00. I wore the brace for a week and the pain was worse. I called the office and they had me come back in. This time he said I need a boot and an MRI of my ankle. I am an RN and did not have a good feeling so I left the office and declined the boot and the MRI of my ankle. The order for the MRI had a diagnosis of peroneal tendonitis. I was able to get in with a different orthopedic group that afternoon. Within 5 minutes of talking to me, the doctor determined my leg pain was nerve pain coming from my spine. I went back to see a spine specialist. She ordered x-rays of my spine and an MRI of my spine after she talked to me and examined me. The MRI showed a bulging disc in my spine that was putting pressure on a nerve and causing the lower leg pain. Dr,… Karanjia misdiagnosed me, he did not explain anything to me and did not listen to my concerns.

I felt like he wanted to get in and out very quickly and offered no compassion or solutions to my problem other than shoe recommendations. I don't think he even talked to me for five minutes. A google search was more helpful.
