Dr. Hongshik Han, MD

Dr. Han performed carpal tunnel surgery as well as a joint repair for me in July 2024. The carpal tunnel surgery was successful however I will have to redo the joint repair as that part was completely unsuccessful. Of concern is the fact that he falsified records in my two post operative visits - appointments that he told me to make - by billling additional codes on those visits so that both the insurance company and I were billed for services that had already been paid within the surgical fee. I obtained copies of my medical records to verify that he had made false claims for those visits, and wrote his office a detailed letter with documentation explaining why I would not be paying that bill. It is five months later, and he is still billing me for that amount. My bill isn’t much, but the amount that the insurance company paid him was significantly more. I would not recommend Dr Han, both because of his surgical outcomes and dishonestly in his billing practices.

He was patient, nice, helpful and saved my son from dying!!!!! He should be given the Best Doctor Award!!!!!!

I so very much appreciated dealing with Dr. Han's wonderful office staff and having him serve as my surgeon for bilateral repair of carpal tunnel syndrome. His bedside manner, whether at an office visit or surgery, was kind, gentle, and reassuring. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. His repair of each of my hands was excellently done and I have recovered quickly without any unwanted side effects or complications. I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Han.

We had surgery on our son and I would never ever submit him or myself to the most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with. Rose is a real piece of work, won't listen to your concerns at all, scheduled us when we got to the hospital they had no record, called their office and asked they then said go to another hospital who again had no record of us!! By this time they are out to lunch and finally send us back to the original hospital 3 hours after the scheduled time.. Like rose said on the initial call I am the appt setter, then you should be fired for not doing your job and making a scared 6 year old child starve all day due to your imcompetence. She is flat out a lair and lazy and should be dumping trash in the office not screwing with sick people. Never been so dissapointed in my life from top to botto

Dr. Han is a very caring, gentle man who takes pride in his work. He explains all problems effectively and answers all questions.His staff, both front and back office, are excellent! They are very professional, but still friendly and caring. I would recommend this office to anyone needing plastic surgery in the Fresno area.

Medical asst Rose and her supervisor Carol are very unproffessional and will not let you speak with Dr han wrote letter never recieved answer. His office is a total mess don,t go to him you will be sorry

The most unprofessional Dr. I have ever come across. If you like doctors that are not the least bit concerned for their patients, then he is the Doc for you!

My son had an unusual injury after a car accident and Dr. Han told us it could be one of two things. He ran some tests and discovered it was correctable with a simple out-patient surgery. We were very happy with the level of careful explanation and bedside manner during the procedure. He even drew pictures to explain what was going on internally. Then, we were worried about a procedure that required full general anesthesia. Howver, his surgery center in Fresno is a shared hospital facility where the nurses and check-in staff were fantastic at easing our concerns. They were also Excellent -with a capital "E".
