Summary
Dr. Xu received his MD degree from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China, and his PhD from University of North Carolina, Charlotte. He completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biomedical Science, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and a Residency in Pathology at the Louisiana State University. He went on to complete a Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and, most recently, a Fellowship in Cytopathology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Xu's clinical interests include genitourinary pathology and cytopathology. His research interests include identifying diagnostic and prognostic markers in genitourinary tumors, as well as investigating the application of new technology to daily clinical practice in pathology.
