Dr. Hooman Madyoon, MD

Dr. Hooman Madyoon may be an excellent physician, but unfortunately, the quality of his staff has been a major disappointment. Every staff member I have interacted with, especially at the Culver City clinic, has been unprofessional, rude, incompetent, and arrogant. Over the past eight months, I have repeatedly experienced delays in having my medical orders processed. They do not answer their phones, making it extremely difficult to communicate with the office. On multiple occasions, they failed to fax the orders that my doctor had recommended, despite repeated follow-ups. My concerns are not based on a single incident but on a consistent pattern of poor service over the last eight months. Patients deserve courteous, competent, and responsive staff, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience with this clinic.

Dr. Madyoon's extreme care and knowledge was the best remedy during my difficult days. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Hooman was amazing, very professional and caring and provided excellent care. I would highly recommend him to anyone else who would consider it. It is a beautiful experience to have someone that cares, it is a rare trait. He is one of the top doctors in the field and his staff is best-in-class.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hooman Madyoon, M.D. for more than 10 years. He is a passionate, intuitive and highly skilled Cardiologist. His ability to diagnose and treat, both Heart and Vascular issues, are truly amazing. On several occasions his instincts, interventions and knowledge have truly saved my life. Dr. Madyoon's integrity and commitment, to his patients, are unquestionably noble; He not only treats me, as a Physician, but actually cares about me as a person.

Dr. Madyoon is the best cardiologist. He listened to my concern when I saw him for the first time last week. It’s hard to find a doctor who is patient and knowledgeable with his practice. Not only that Dr. Madyoon is very humble which is a breath of fresh air. His office staff are very nice. Dr Madyoon is a rare case where his stellar reputation is matched by his humanity and you feel cared for as if he was part of your family. His vast knowledge is so impressive, you know you’re in the presence of one of the greatest doctors you could possibly encounter. His Team is also stellar, particularly his PA Jill Tanner, who is spectacular! She is committed to delivering the best care one could dream of having, while being so caring and also extremely knowledgeable. I feel so fortunate for having been referred to them by a close friend.

Dr Madyoon is one of the finest Doctors I have ever encountered. He’s without a doubt one of the top doctors in his field, but what truly makes him stand out is his humanity! He is as brilliant as he is compassionate. He surrounds himself with a 5 Star team. His PA Jill Tanner, is simply phenomenal!!! She’s extremely knowledgeable, and one of the most dedicated, caring, sharp (never misses anything!)professionals you could ever be so fortunate to encounter. They manage to always make themselves available when you need them (which is really something one can’t take for granted these days!).

This Dr. Madyoon was my mother's heart specialist for a couple of years. She was not that impressed with the doctor citing that he was always in a hurry to go to next patient and she felt rushed and misunderstood but my mom unfortunately didn't take the time to look for another doctor who was better suited. She ended up having to do an outpatient procedure in his office and that's when it went really horrible. It was a simple procedure where they put her to sleep. They unfortunately released my mom when she was not yet quite alert. She even complained that she couldn't yet drive and she didn't feel like she should be released but the doctor told her that she's okay to drive and basically made her feel wrong to not feel up to driving. My mom ended up in an accident and feel asleep behind the wheels. Thank goodness she's okay and so was the other car. Me and rest of family felt horrible because all it would have take is for her to give us a call and we would have all be more than… happy to drive her home but she felt inadequate to do this at the time because the doctor made her feel unreasonable for feeling sleepy and not up to driving. So she basically got in the car, started driving not knowing that she really isn’t well. It was wrong of my mom to not trust her own instinct and drive and we also got upset at her for doing this, but she said her judgement was quite impaired at the time. This was by far most horrible experience my family has endured with a doctor who is supposed to be caring and looking after the heath of your loved one. We could have sued and were told by a lawyer that we had a solid case but my father decided in the end not to pursue this to put an end to the whole matter and move on. She now has e new cardiologist and she has realized how neglectful and awful the doctor was overall because of how much better she sees this new doctor is taking care of her and all the measures he takes. My mother has also cut her medication in half since she is seeing the new doctor. In the end this really helped save my mom from Dr. Madyoon because he is really so interested in making money that he’s sacrificing the values of being a semi-decent doctor.
