Dr. Horace Gibson Hinson

The last time I went to see him, I waited 2 1/2 hours for my appointment. I almost got fired for taking so long on lunch. I looked out of the room to check on where he could be and he saw me. Shortly thereafter he was in my room, mad. I was told I was too early for my followup (told me I should have waited 4 months to follow up on my thyroid medicine) He originally had told me 2 months, which I have verified with several Dr's since then that 2 months is correct. He rudely ordered me to go have blood run anyway. He also refused to give my daughter a new prescription for an inhaler (on her appointment) when she has had moderate asthma since she was 5 years old. He wanted her to have an attack first. This man gained 40 pds in the 4 years I saw him, yet on my last visit he insinuated I was fat. I weighed 140 and 5'6. Made me not want to see a dr for a long time after that. Don't waste your time, there are other Dr's that don't mind treating you like a customer, because you are one.

A very good doctor, there isn't a single doctor in Waco with his professionalism and courtesy. I know several people who see him and they all say he's an excellent doctor.

Easy to get an appointment for a reason. I can't imagine going back a second time. He ordered expensive tests (one test in the hospital) then recommended exercise and vitamins. My reg Dr returned from a trip and diagnosed my problem immediately with NO tests.
