Dr. Horst R Rudrich, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Rudrich for 20 years. He is very thoughtful in his personalized care and help for ailments and conditions. Best physician ever, I trust his recommendations and follow his care instructions to the letter. His knowledge is very thorough and I'm more than satisfied with my G.P.

This doctor is probably one of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered. He does not listen to anything you tell him. Each visit I had to go over my complaint again for him because he didn’t know why I was there. He allowed his medical staff to inject pain medication into my body that he didn’t think I needed. He accused me of lying about my pain even though I’ve been seeing him strictly for the pain for over a year and a half now. I thought because he was a DO he would be more inclined to treat and fix the source of the pain instead of covering it up with medication. He is very unprofessional! And I’m extremely disappointed that I’ve wasted not only my time but my money on someone as incompetent as he is. I strongly advise anyone looking into this doctor to look else where. Appointments take between 6-8 weeks and then he leaves the country when you have your appointment. Really pathetic excuse for a doctor and I pray no one falls into his care again!!!

Dr Rudrich has continued to provide quality care for a lady I take care of. He goes out of his way to visit her at our apartment for several years. I don't understand why this rating service would allow a very vindictive person to place two one-star reviews on the same day regarding the same incident. this should be considered and not allowed. thank you.

Dr. Rudrich takes time to listen, has good recommendations, and follows up when needed. He refers you to specialists when required. Takes recommendations from the patient in self=management of health issues. Very easy to work with, I highly recommend Dr. Rudrich for family practice.

found dr through choice va program - excellent caring dr - then switched a lady i take care of who has dementia. dr horst actually made a house-call to help us. can i say more. you will not be disappointed.

I don't understand No Compassion's review. I've seen Dr. Rudrich for about 8 years and he always goes out of his way to help. He researches on weekends and contacts other drs for help when need be. He calls you at home. He listens and he cares. The staff is excellent. I can always get an immediate appt when necessary.

My 4 year old was screaming in pain from an ear infecyion it was after hours and when he finally called me back his response when i asked him to prescribe ear drops until the next day when we could come in was that he kjust couldnt have the liability and that i needed to take her to the emergency room (for a 5 hour wait) never again...

Sometimes I have to wait a little while to see Dr. Rudrich but it's definately worth it because he is very thorough and spends a good deal of time with all his patients. He makes sure that all your questions are answered and that you understand everything he tells you. He is also very gentle. I had an ingrown toenail that was very painful and he took care of it... made sure it was very numb before he started. He is not afraid to refer me to specialists either if there is something that needs to be taken care of (ie. rheumatologist, allergist, etc.) I would highly recommend him for adults and children.
