Hossein Mehdikhani, M.D., is dual-boarded in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. From an early age, Hossein Mehdikhani, M.D., was drawn to science and problem-solving, but what truly inspired him was the human aspect of medicine — being able to make a real difference in someone’s life. He was captivated by the ability to visualize physiological processes and guide treatment using molecular imaging, which felt like a field where he could contribute meaningfully to both diagnosis and therapy.Dr. Mehdikhani earned his medical degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and completed his Nuclear Medicine Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, followed by a Radiology Residency at Columbia University Medical Center-Harlem Hospital.
