Dr. Houman Dahi, MD

I find it unacceptable that he allows a patient to believe they are in-network, knowing that their contract with our insurance company WAS NOT RENEWED. It is just as unacceptable that he wanted to proceed with testing all the while knowing that the entire process would be out of pocket. Luckily, insurance denied testing request and we never scheduled it. His office took our regular $40 copayment at the time of the appointment allowing us to believe theywere still in network, even though they were fully aware that they were not. Completely unprofessional.

If your looking for a physician that couldn't care less about you, here's your doctor. I had ONLY 1 question and he had no answer. Don't see him for critical care. He's not very knowledgeable. He did give me 3 refills for my Rx for sleep, but that was the extent on his helpfulness and I'm looking for another office. He was late to my first appointment and then in and out in under 5 minutes. No time to accomplish anything on my list. He never asked if I needed anything else, never asked about my general health. You feel like cattle at the vet and he knows next to nothing. Sad and tragic waste of a day.

Dr. Dahi is great.... He is very thorough. As a doctor, I give him at least 5 stars on a scale of 5. Yet, if you make an appointment, make sure it is first thing in the morning, or first appointment in the afternoon. Numerous times, I waited in his reception room for an hour or more, until I got really angry, and was told that he usually has emergency patients, that will be seen, without an appointment, before me. Or, some patients will take an hour or more, of the doctors time, and thus make everyone else, who has an appointment, to wait. SO, either be the first patient in the morning, or first patient in the afternoon. So, I started making appts. for first patient in the afternoon, and ended up waiting, at most, 15 minutes, before being seen.
