This man is a fantastic doctor! And his staff is SECOND TO NONE!!!

This doctor is very discriminatory when it comes to the necessity of pain medications. After my last surgery, surgery to remove adhesions and my appendix, he discharged me from the hospital before I was eating a normal diet, and refused any pain medication to send me home with. This not only prolonged my recovery time, but his discrimination is now following me to any doctor I see, as he has made his notes clear that I am some sort of drug addict. This is preventing me now from getting proper treatment, even from Pain Management, for my back, which he knows I injured in a car accident that resulted in my car being totaled. I urge you, if he even mentions anything negative to you about pain medications you may be currently taking, SEEK HELP FROM A DIFFERENT SURGEON, or risk being scarred by this man who takes more time labeling individuals than actually caring for them.

I can honestly say that you will NEVER find another surgeon who is so kind and caring about his patients and their family. He was my mothers surgeon, my surgeon and my husbands surgeon. All three of us had cancer. He couldn't save my mother or my husband but he did save me! I have been cancer free for almost 11 years and praise God everyday for sending this wonderful Doctor into our life. He is a very spiritual man and isn't afraid to ask for Gods guidance when he operates on you. He even joins in prayer before surgery! It is so hard to find a surgeon who doesn't have a ego bigger than the door he walks through but Dr. J is the best and has no ego. He has devoted his life to medicine and helping those who are in need. The girls in his office are wonderful and I consider several of them my dear friends.

I would recommend this surgeon to everyone in need. I was extremely impressed with how accessible he made himself to me and my family after the surgery. Very caring. Thank you doctor for doing what you do! You made this whole experience more tolerable and I always felt I was in good hands.
