We were very pleased with Dr. Abrams and his staff from the consultation to the procedure.

I find him to be warm and personable. He will make room for you in his schedule during emergencies. He will listen to your opinion about your medications and take it into account. However, he is usually an hour behind schedule. He is supposed to see me every two months, yet he is usually so booked up that it usually ends up being every three months. His receptionist always seems overwhelmed. She can be caring one minute and impatient the next.

I've been seeing Dr Abrams for 10 years. Just now I'm having the smarts to seek out a new psychriatrist. His wait time is typically 1 hour with an appointment - I have waited over 2 hours quite a few times. I honestly thinks he over books him self to get more business. The average visit is no more than 10 - 15 minutes. He ask how you're doing, refills your medication, and thats it. As I'm trying to taper off my medication I'm currently looking for someone who spends the time to listen and treats you like a person not a cog to be processed.
