Do yourself a favor and don't even walk in the door. You will be doing everyone's job. Checking on test results. Calling and calling again because something is wrong with your kid and you have to go through at least 3 different people to relay a message. Then the question never gets answered. This is frustration and is NOT going to help your child. You chose to do this and you and your child will end up in the hospital.

Dr. Baron has to be the poorest excuse of a doctor I have ever seen. He treated my daughter from infancy to about 2 1/2 years and all I received was scrutiny by him, his staff and his colleagues. It was not until my husband moved to California and seeing numerous doctors over years did we finally receive a diagnosis for our daughter. My daughter did not "fit" what he was looking for, therefore he completely overlooked her disorder and caused her years of pain and discomfort. I am happy to say that she is finally being treated and has been fairly healthy for about 7 years, but in his arrogance, he stole 7 pain free years from her. Do yourself a favor and seek out a doctor that is not concerned about his ego, but really cares.

This dr came extremely highly recommended. It took me calling every single day for a week to finally get an appointment. The office staff is extremely rude and make you feel like you are just a number and not a person. I was told several times when I would call with questions that my child was not his only patient. He dismissed my daughter's symptoms, telling her not to worry, her symptoms wouldn't last forever, and this was after she'd been in the hospital for 6 days, and not one gastro test done, he had no idea what was wrong with her, if it wasn't for another dr in his practice, who knows what condition my child would be in today. He had no idea how to treat her, he became very agitated if I questioned his treatment. I had to take my child out of state to get a proper treatment plan, and come to find out, his treatment plan was making my child feel worst. In my opinion he's very back and white, does not think outside the box at all, i think he thinks all patients should have the… same treatment. He told me several times that since his last patient had this result with the treatment my child should have the same. I highly recommend getting a 2nd opinion.

I met Dr. Baron at Sunrise Hospital when my daughter needed a G-tube. The doctors in my daughters care had told me she would need a fundo and G-tube. Dr. Baron explained the differences and advocated for my daughter to receive the less intensive surgery and she has done well with this. He has been great with the follow ups, remembers (or pretends to remember us, either one I am okay with!) and genuinely cares about my daughter's care. He is so great with her, speaking baby talk, cooing over her. He is definitely in the right field working with babies!

Front Desk Staff and Office Manager outrageously rude. Doctor is awesome but unfortunately not enough to make up for his front offices level of inexperience and disrespect. In other words the front office is equivalent to that of a zoo.

Office staff deserves zero star rating. I called to make an appointment. First off, I thought I reached the wrong number because I could not understand a word spoken of the woman who answered. I had to ask if it was Dr. Baron's office. She then asked me a few questions, and told me someone would call me back to set up the appointment. I waited a few hours without a return call, so I called back. Same woman answered; again I could not decipher what she was saying when she answered the call. She then said my child would have to wait three months before being seen. I then spoke to someone who called herself the "office manager," though her unprofessional comments left much in doubt that she should ever be in a managerial position. She was rude, insulting, and downright unprofessional towards me. I questioned the three-month wait when the pediatrician we had been to in the morning told us to go back to Dr. Baron for treatment. She told me the pediatrician could treat my… daughter. Apparently, this office staff can diagnose my child over the phone and knows more than the pediatrician. I hope Dr. Baron reads these reviews to see that his staff needs to be taking customer service courses or be replaced. His office, which we often visited from 2007-2009, did not treat patients this way.

Dr. Baron has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is one of the most caring, compassionate, intelligent and awesome docs I've had the pleasure of being a patient of (which I can't say for most). He is very diligent and takes the time to understand your symptoms and concerns and goes the exta mile to answer questions and help you understand your own condition and what is going on. His knowledge has literally saved my life more than once. The most dedicated doc I have come accross, and a fantastic staff! We are lucky to have such a great pediatric GI in Vegas!

unprofessional and not the place to be if you are a concerned parent with a sick child. The front desk staff is impolite and the Doctors are mediocre. I was advised by the Doctor that my daughter needed an upper GI. I was informed his office would follow up with me to schedule the appointment, upon checkout, the same thing was confirmed by the employeed taking my payment. One week later I had still received no call. I called them to follow up and was told that I needed to call myself and make the appointment for the Upper GI. When I told the employee on the phone I was informed they would make the appointment she replied "I don't know why they'd tell you that, we don't do it." She has no care or concern that I was given the wrong information. After I took my daughter for the upper GI an employee called me back and stated "the doctor looked at the results, your daughther does have malrotation she will need to see the surgeon as soon as possible." When I tried to ask questions she… advised me she couldn't answer them, I would need to follow up with a doctor. How unprofessional to contact a patient and advise them their infant needs surgery and not have anyone available to answer any questions. When the doctor did call me back 2 days later I was informed the surgery needed was laproscopic and outpatient, which gave me some relief. When I went to the surgeon, the surgeon advised me it was a magor surgery, she would be cut open and it would be a 5 to 6 day hospital visit. I was very upset! To hear from Dr. Baron's office that my daughter needed surgery, not being able to speak w/a doctor, then the doctor gives me the wrong information, the office staff is rude, gives wrong information and has no concern that they do... my overall experience was terrible! I would not refer this office or it's doctors to anyone!
