Dr. Howard Christy Chandler JR., MD

In a very dark time after being told I had a bbrain tumor that was going to require immediate surgery. Dr. Chandler walked in my hospital room and brought a ray of sunshine and hope to my room. He is a wonderful dr and I have always had full confidence in everything he has told me about my condition and all procedures performed. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Chandler totally deserves this 5-Star, Excellent rating. I came into Piedmont ER with bi-lateral intracranial hemorrhages. His care, experience and beside manner (patience, personality and communications) really helped during this time. His surgical skills were also excellent. I am fully recovered and so thankful for his excellent skill and care.

Dr. Chandler, his PA and nursing staff are beyond wonderful - they are excellent. Dr. Chandler has a warm bedside manner - taking dense information and explaining it in a way that educates you with a respectful, straightforward approach. He is proactive (not reactive). I hope you never have to see a neuro oncologist. If so, Dr. Chandler would be my recommendation. You are truly in good hands. I stayed with my current health insurance provider so that I could remain in network to see him. Scheduling appointments, testing and follow-ups are seamless.

The entire staff, from the moment of entering office is very pleasant.
