Dr. Howard Pyo, DO

Dr. Howard Pyo is a board-certified family medicine physician with comprehensive training and a long-standing commitment to patient-centered care. He completed premedical studies at Harvard University, earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and finished his internship at Chino Valley Medical Center. He completed his family medicine residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York City, where he also served as the CIR union leader for medical residents, and he is licensed by the California Osteopathic Medical Board.

Dr. Pyo brings broad clinical experience across primary care, urgent care, hospital medicine, and nursing home settings. He currently serves as hospice director for Mega Hospice and chairs several committees at College Medical Center in Long Beach, CA — including nutrition, pharmacy/therapeutics, and infection control and prevention — reflecting his focus on quality, safety, and multidisciplinary care.
