I have been a patient of Dr. Charles' for many years. He is so knowledgeable and speaks to you and not above you. His laser treatment on me years ago has preserved my vision. I have complete trust and faith in him.

I had a retinal issue that I consulted with my home retina doctor about the day before I left to visit family in Mt. Kisco for Christmas. My home town doctor recommended a follow up appt. with a specialist near MK the following week. The rentina specialists recommended to me were rude, had me show up with a negative COVID test result but still refused to take me as a patient, and basically changed the rules of engagement twice so I was unable to be seen. Fortunately, Dr. Charles was available to see me for this very timely check up I needed. The person I first spoke to was compassionate to my plight and got me in to see Dr. Charles the next day. He was thorough, professional and sent excellent records to my retina doctor at home. I would highly recommend Dr. Charles and his staff.

In 1991 I had a retinal tear without detachment. Dr. Charles opted for cryotherapy. He conferred with Dr. Kalkut, primary physician at the time, who concurred with Dr. Charles' decision. the procedure was successful. Dr. Charles took care of me for over twenty years. He is an excellent physician with a kind caring manner. My physicians in Virginia comment on the level of care I initially received with Dr. Charles.

Thorough, kind and explained my disease and the plan for treatment and all of my options. Really great bedside manner.

Dr. Charles is exceptional, he is a wonderful doctor, his office is run very efficiently and he speaks WITH patients, not TO them. Such a pleasure and I'm grateful for the care that he has been giving to my father.

Twelve years ago I had a spider membrane growing over my left eye. I went to a doctor (who shall remain nameless) in Dutchess County who is a retina specialist that operated on it but hadn't cured my double vision. As the years went by my vision got worse and I went back to the same specialist and he said that he wasn't going to operate on my eye again and that I had to live with it. Well I was VERY upset by this and went to my other eye doctor who then recommended me to Dr. Charles. He looked at my eyes and said to me "What is it that you want me to do?" , and I said can you fix it and he said yes, would two weeks be ok? The membrane was pulling on my retina. I don't have double vision in my left eye anymore and has removed a membrane growing over my right eye as well as a caterraci the same day with Dr Cohen. Thank you so Very very much Dr. Charles. F.
