Dr. Chavis is very much gifted and talented, kind and compassionate, professional and flexible. There is enormous amount of heath in him, and he is able to help his patients in the healthy direction. However, one has to be ready to receive health. Over the past years, I have seen different therapists / psychiatrists, but often found that I outgrow their guidance swiftly. However, it is different with Dr. Chavis. After just three initial sessions, I experienced a life-altering transformation that felt almost magical! Since then, I have been seeing him both in-person and online over the past three months. I have been able to live a much more fulfilled life. Practices "orgonomy" look it up. Sessions are unusual. He has a soundproof room and manipulates your body in various places. It is painful. He claims to want to get you off of medications which could be true. When faced with my leaving, he was insulting in subtle and unsubtle ways. I was recommended to him by someone who has no capability whatever to understand his value and it was my ignorance. If anything, as the doctor to talk with him about his methods and compare him to others. He didn't take insurance and is expensive.

One would surely find it impossible to find a more caring, in-tune and well-trained psychiatrist than Dr. Chavis. I credit him for a complete turnaround in my life, and for restoring a sense of pride and purpose in my everyday activities. He is second to none.

Dr. Chavis is a gifted doctor, and an intelligent and caring human being. I feel I can tell him anything. He has a way of responding, which often resonates. I get the feeling that he is on my side. Both of us are working towards my goal for higher functioning, greater emotional health and fulfillment.
