Dr. Howard I Finer, MD

We've been taking our two children to Dr. Finer for 10 years. Our encounters have been for regular physical checkups, the normal coughs, fevers, flu and cold symptoms as well as other aches and pains. Dr. Finer is a very thorough doctor and if required, will not hesitate to send you to a recommended specialist. Dr. Finer takes the time to explain in as much detail as one needs to feel comfortable about the situation. We have referred numerous people to this office and all of them say the same thing...he's the best. I'm sure you and your family will be very satisfied.

-so busy making corny jokes, he does not listen to problems.-interrupts a lot, no respect.-he does not ask before bringing interns into the room. his fulltime staff members are rude.-he is passive aggressive about his opinions.-seems too old to be in practice.

Calm mild mannered professional Dr. which suits us. I have 3 highly active kids and need a calm reassuring Dr. I always see the Dr - he doesn't use a Phy.Asst. which works for us. Have been seeing him for 5 years - and no complaints.

Dr Finer really does love kids. When my son was born premature, Finer was the only ped. I had interviewed so I had no choice but to call him. He came to the hospital right away and was back at least three times during that month, even though he wasn't technically his doc until discharge. He does give you input in how to treat most things, so if you want a very bossy doctor who just tells you what to do all the time, he is not for you. We are very pleased with him overall.
