Dr. Howard Aaron Glick, MD

I used to go to dr Glick for a while and he repeatedly prescribed me multiple meds(which cost 300-800 every refill and almost sent my parents into debt) and only a brief moment when I told him the bad side affects and he knew my health conditions and meds I was on for them and I got sick repeatedly from him prescribing meds that I could not take with them he rushed through every appointment and never really listened to what I was saying and got misdiagnosed multiple times. Until I was hospitalized we never knew what was going on the last straw was when I came out and he tried to convince me it was just a phase. I recently found out that my files were never sent to my other doctors that he was required to tell and now I have to go through all new testing. I am still livid about his over priced appointment and medications that sent me into a downward spiral. Do not recommend to anyone. Please don’t send your child to him. His main objective is money and to profit off of you. I don’t… understand how he’s a doctor.

I saw Dr. Glick for 3 years and he is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. His gentle caring manner allows you to trust him completely. He saved my life 3 times when I tried to commit suicide . The only reason I don't see him now is that he does not take my insurance and I am on Social Security Disability and can't afford to pay out of pocket. I reccomend him highly and refer many people to him. He is not only a great doctor, he is an incredible person.

I go to him and he is amazing and understanding with kids and he is very patient when meds don't work you should definitely come to him!

Probably one of the few shrinks that understands medication symptom assessment he will know right away what is wrong with you and if your real bad well we got lamps for that

Dr. Glick is the best psychistrist I have ever been to. He has a way of listening to you that makes you know you matter. He also knew what was causing my problems when I had been to at least 5 other doctors, told them the same things, and they NEVER diagnosed me right. They never even came close. Now I am working with a specialist and am slowly coming along.As far as having to wait for your initial appointment yes you might have to wait, maybe up to a month or two, but I would rather wait for a doctor to give me the right help then get an appointment with lots of other doctors immediately for the wrong treatment. I waited 20 years.

I had never visited a psychiatrist before, so needless to say I was very scared and nervous. After spending a whopping 25 minutes with me, he prescribed Wellbutrin. After about a week, I started to suffer some pretty bad side effects. I emailed him letting him know, and his response was basically, "Sorry that didn't work out, keep in touch." I wrote him back twice asking if he was going to prescribe me something else, and he never responded. He also told me in my initial appointment he would refer me to some therapists, but it took over a week to get back to me on that. Today I canceled the future appointment I had with him, and I'll never go back. I was terrified about seeing this kind of doctor, and when I finally got up the courage to go, I was treated like he had better things to do and he couldn't care less. Real nice.

Although it was difficult to get a new patient appt, once we met Dr. Glick it was well worth the wait. He was great with my son, and got to the heart of the matter quickly and diagnosed him accurately. I have only two things I regret, that Dr. Glick is so popular that you have to schedule out for appts and that I did not take my son sooner. I see a difference for the better in my son already.
